Finalists of the inaugural Canada OSPAs announced

The Canada Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs), sponsored by TEAM Software by WorkWave, which were launched earlier this year has announced its first-ever award finalists.

The independent awards are supported by ASIS, Boma, CANASA, CASIS, IAHSS and IFPO. The judging panel, made up of high-profile security experts, represented them to review and score the many nominations.  It is them alone who have selected the finalists.

The 2022 finalists are:

The founder of the OSPAs Professor Martin Gill said “we are extremely pleased by the response we have received especially in this the first year.  To go forward as a finalist, entrants must reach a score threshold and this year’s finalists have clearly demonstrated outstanding performance and we wish them well in the next phase of the competition.”

Winners will be announced on Thursday 8th December at a free to attend awards presentation to take place virtually following a Thought Leadership Webinar.

The webinar will examine what are the current challenges of the Canadian security sector and how good is the response.
